WOW x WOW held a mini works show, everything 10×10″ or smaller. ‘MicroVisions 4’ opened on the 7th of May and ran until the 28th, 2021.

“METCARD: NO RETURN” (ONLINE)
My wonderful agency Just Another sent out old school paper metcards (the tickets for Melbourne’s metro tram system, phased out in 2013) to a bunch of artists. We painted and drew on them and sent them back for an online show that opened June 15th, 2020 – Metcard: No Return! You can see all the cards and buy them here.

A double show of pop culture goodness – Gallery 1988 opened two shows, one based on memes and one based on movies that were released 30 years ago (1990). These shows opened on January 10th and ran until the 25th, 2020.

The Stockroom held a show to celebrate International Women’s Day with 40+ female artists at their Clifton Hill (Melbourne) space. Opened on the 8th of March and ran until the 24th March 2o19.
“LUNAR NEW YEAR – LIVE PAINTING EVENT!” (MELBOURNE)
I was thrilled to live paint at The Strand in Melbourne’s CBD as part of their Lunar New Year celebration. I worked on 4 large scale pieces in centre between 10am and 2pm daily from Tuesday the 29th of Jan to Tuesday the 5th of Feb 2019. You can read more about the event here. At the end of the campaign the works were auctioned to support Sisterworks, a wonderful organisation assisting women who are migrants, asylum seekers or refugees to become financially independent and happily settled in Australia.
The Stockroom opened their new Clifton Hill (Melbourne) space and held a show of 12×12 pieces. So many local and international artists in this one, opened on the 12th of December, ran until the 23rd 2018.

Alexi Era Gallery held an event featuring postcard pieces. All works were priced between $5-$50 and 100% of the profits went to the Wildlife Conservation Society – 16th of December 2016!

The wonderful new space Queenscliff Gallery and Workshop held a group show with the theme ‘Creatures’. I had a few works in this one. Opened on October the 9th 2016 and ran until October 31st.

My agency put on an exciting event – a group of artists were given a set of materials and an 8 hour slot in which to create a piece of art with those materials. It happened at No Vacancy Gallery, I was in the space creating on October the 7th, and the show with everyone’s completed works opened on the 28th of October 2016.

Gristle Tattoo & Art Gallery held an exhibition featuring Star Trek inspired art, to coincide with the Star Trek: Mission New York convention, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the original Star Trek. I had a piece in this one, it ran from September 2-4th 2016.

Auguste Clown Gallery held a group show focussing on Melbourne artists. This one opened on the 19th of Feb and ran until the 6th of March, 2016.
The Stockroom is an exciting brand new space in Ringwood. Their first show was a monster with everyone submitting 12×12″ works. Opened on the 12th of December 2015, ran until the 24th.

I’m pleased to have had a piece in the annual anatomical/medical themed group show held by Corpus Illuminata. This one was at Tangent Gallery in Detroit, ran from the 14th of August to the 15th 2015.
“Exquisite Corpse” (Melbourne)
I was part of a 3 person show at No Vacancy Gallery’s Fed Square Project Space. Called ‘Exquisite Corpse’ after the drawing game, I showed several paintings and metalworking pieces alongside Kim Garratt and Georgia Matthey. The show was up from July 28th to August 9th 2015, with an opening event on the evening of the 29th of July.

I had paintings and repoussé pieces in the grand opening show for Alexi Era Gallery, who moved to a new location. This one opened on the 13th of June 2015 and ran until the 13th of July, 2015.

I had a painting and a few repoussé pieces in a small-scale art show at Ghost Gallery. This one opened on the 11th of December 2014 and ran until the 9th of Feb, 2015.
I had a piece in a Day of the Dead show at Just Another Project Space for one night only, November the 1st 2014.
Just Another Project Space turned 2 and had a group show to celebrate…everyone submitted a piece with the theme ‘Two’. This one opened on the 17th of July, 2014 from 6-9pm and ran until the 27th.

Modern Eden Gallery in San Franciso held a group show, ‘Universe’ curated by Michael Cuffe of Warholian. I was pleased to submit a spacebeast for this one, opened on the 12th of April 2014.

Six Years Later Magazine launched their 3rd edition ‘Instinct’. I have a feature in the book and had a piece on display at the launch party, on the 21st of March 2014 at 1 Doonside St, Richmond.

Modern Eden Gallery in San Franciso held a group show with artwork inspired by the Grotesque. Opened on the 8th of March 2014 and ran until the 22nd.
“Toy to the World” (Melbourne)

Just Another Agency’s 4th annual group show was held again at 1000 £ Bend in Melbourne CBD as a side event for Semi Permanent. This one opened on the 24th and ran until the 27th of October 2013.
“Technical Art Delight” (Takamatsu, Japan)
A friend of mine Tosai is an amazing tattoo artist and his tattoo family (Horiedo) put on an art and music event in his home city of Takamatsu, he asked me to send a few pieces. It was a one night only show at Club Axis, happened on the 28th of September 2013.
“Lil Bub Art Show” (San Francisco)
Spoke Art held a special group show to coincide with Lil Bub’s book launch. A bunch of artists submitted pieces with a Bub theme, and Bub herself was at the space for a meet and greet! Info about the opening night is here, it ran from the 7th of September until the 28th 2013.
“The Reinterpretation of Frida Kahlo’s The Wounded Deer” (Toronto)
The art collective iseamonster held a show for all members at Hashtag Gallery. I’m a huge fan of Frida and was super excited to be reinterpreting one of my favourite works of hers, the Wounded Deer. This one opened on the 20th and ran until the 27th of September 2013.
Just Another Project Space turned 1 and had a group show with the theme ‘One’. Opened on the 4th of July 2013 and ran until the 30th.
“Time Book Launch” (London)
The awesome art collective Lazy Gramophone put together a compilation of short stories, poems and artwork by fifty-five contributors, entitled ‘Time’. I did an illustration for a poem in this book, and it launched at The Drink Shop & Do (facebook event here) on the 26th of May 2013.
Espionage Gallery joined forces with Subterraneous Screen Printers to bring you an epic shirt and print show. 16 artists each created a digital piece which was printed on to shirts and recycled card, which opened on the 30th of May 2013.
“The Exquisite Palette” (Melbourne)
My favourite art shop St Luke held a group show of works painted on curved wooden palettes. I submitted a piece to this one, it opened on the 10th of April 2013 at their store, 32 Smith St in Collingwood.
“Toy To The World” (Melbourne)
Toy To The World happened again – an exhibition/auction of almost 100 customised vinyl toys for Victorian HIV research. This one opened on the 15th of Jan 2013 at the Spring Street Convention Centre (1 Spring St in the CBD) and the auction ran until the 4th of Feb.
“Invincible Fathers” – A joint show with Apeseven (Sydney)
I was most excited to show again in Sydney, this time with the very clever Apeseven. Our show theme was ‘Invincible Fathers’ and for this one I worked almost exclusively on paper with totem poles as my concept…have a read about it on my blog here. It was a short show, from the 16th-17th of November 2012 at China Heights Gallery in Surry Hills.

“iseamonster” at Gladstone Gallery (Toronto, Canada)
iseamonster, a Canadian-based female art collective held their first group show at Gladstone Gallery on the 2nd of August 2012. It was also the launch of a limited edition art book featuring my work and the last stop for a travelling sketchbook that had been making the rounds between the artists.
“Primal Mutation: Notfair 2012” (Melbourne)
I’m very excited to have been asked to participate in this year’s Notfair exhibition. Held every two years and curated by Melissa Amore, Sam Leach and Ashley Crawford, Notfair is a satellite event to the Melbourne Art Fair. The show was held this year at 1000 £ Bend in the Melbourne CBD, and ran from the 1st of August to the 5th 2012.
“Works On Paper” at Just Another Project Space (Melbourne)
Just Another Agency launched a brand new space in Prahran! They teamed up with the wonderful Signed & Numbered (where I have some prints for sale) and held a grand opening of works on paper on the 7th of July 2012 (6-10pm), at 153 Greville Street Prahran.
“Art Melbourne 2012” Art Fair
My agency had a stall at this year’s Art Melbourne. The fair ran from the 24-27th May 2012 and was held at the Royal Exhibition Center, Carlton.
“Les Dessinatrices, All Female International Illustration Exhibition” at Espionage Gallery (Adelaide)
Espionage Gallery hosted Les Dessinatrices – an all female international illustration exhibition featuring the work of 22 international female illustrators from all corners of the globe. Opening night was Thursday the 19th of April 2012 at 6:00pm, the show ran until the 3rd of May.
“Board” NGV Studio (Melbourne)
My agency curated a mammoth 3 month long show at NGV Studio to coincide with the display of Tony Hallam’s famous personal skateboard collection. Original artwork on skate decks was up from the 12th of Nov 2011 to the 5th of Feb 2012, and also involved the Three Sixty Project (who supplied the decks) to help raise money for their great program. I painted live in the space for three days from 10am-10pm with Makatron from Thursday to Saturday (December the 15-17th 2011).
“Gifted” Gallery 59 (Tauranga New Zealand)
I showed a few unframed paper works at Gallery 59 – this was my first public showing in the homeland (NZ)! The show ran from the 18th of November to the 23rd of December 2011.
“POST APOCALYPSE” with Aramas at Rancho Notorious (Melbourne)
A show with Aramas at Rancho Notorious. The show ran from Oct the 25th to Nov the 7th 2011. The opening night was Thursday the 27th of October from 6-9pm.
“Just Another Group Show” (Melbourne)
For the second year in a row now, Just Another Agency held a huge group exhibition at 1000 £ Bend in Melbourne CBD as a side event for Semi Permanent. The show ran from the 20th of Sept 2011 to the 26th, all works between 50cms square and 100cms square. The opening night was the 22nd from 6-9pm. Watch the vid here!
“Sink Or Swim” (San Francisco)
PangeaSeed, a Japanese Shark Conservation Organisation held a group show entitled ‘Sink or Swim’ to raise awareness and funds to help stop the barbaric and cruel practise of shark fin harvesting. This show was held at Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco, it was the first time my work has been shown on the west coast of USA. The show ran from the 23rd to the 25th of September 2011. SOLO SHOW! – EXOSKELETONS (Melbourne)
I held my 3rd solo show this year at No Vacancy Project Space in Federation Square. Working with my recent exoskeleton theme, this show featured a mix of canvas and 3d pieces. This Little Teapot (Sydney)
In the same vein as last year’s ‘This Little Piggy’ show of art on ceramic piggybanks, was ‘This Little Teapot’. Curated by Rebecca Murphy, this time we painted on ceramic teapots! More info on Rebecca’s website here. The show was held at Paper Plane Gallery in Rozelle, Sydney and ran from April the 13th to May the 1st 2011.
‘Open Eyes’ at Art in Mind (London)
The Brick Lane Gallery held a group show from March 30th to April 10th 2011.
Just Another Female Skateboard Exhibition
One Five Faction held the after party for Just Another Female Skateboard Competition 3, and an exhibition with a bunch of ladies painting on decks. I’d never painted on one before. The show opened Thursday the 10th of March and ran until the 28th 2011.
Toy to the World
Along with many other local and international artists I took part in Toy to the World, an auction to raise funds for the Victorian AIDS Council. We transformed a vinyl bear toy into a unique piece of art! My bear won 3rd place in the competition for creativity. You can see images of the entries on Invurt here. The exhibition was part of the Midsumma Festival and took place from Jan 17th – Feb 6th 2011, at 45 Downstairs in the Melbourne CBD.
Fit To Print
No Vacancy Gallery set up a print shop at their QV space. I sent in 3 different limited edition giclee prints in A4 size. The show ran from the 9th of Dec 2010 to the 24th.
Feminality, Art Basel Miami Beach
My first showing of art in the USA! Art Basel Miami Beach is a yearly event and America’s biggest art show, this year from December 2nd – 5th 2010. Miami Independent Thinkers put on a group show that was part of the event, and within that was Feminality, a showcase of art by women around the world. I sent 3 pieces along for this gem of a show.
As part of the launch for this year’s Curvy book, I filled a display box with a selection of originals, prints, objects and ephemera relating to me and my inspiration. The display was in Sydney CBD’s fashion hub, The Galeries on George Street, from November the 19th 2010 until Jan the 6th 2011.
“Wild Things” at Urban Cow Studio
I was part of a group show of animal art at Urban Cow Studio in Adelaide. The show ran from the 6th of October to the 30th 2010.

696 Ink Grand Opening
After the close of much loved Sydney road gallery 696, a new gallery/tattoo studio opened up in its place…696 Ink, curated by Meg Woodsworth and Jon Beinart of the Beinart International Surreal Art Collective and Jason Jacenko. The show ran from the 5th of March to the 1st of April 2010.
Linden Postcard show
A gigantic group show at the Linden Gallery, St Kilda, Melbourne. Hundreds of works (I showed 3), everything 30cm or smaller. The show ran from the 6th of Feb to the 27th of March 2010.
Design Federation’s “Friends of the Federation” party
I had a piece on display at theclub in Kings Cross in Sydney. A one night only event by Design Federation, on the 12th of Feb 2010.
Group show “This Little Piggy”
A group show at China Heights Gallery in Sydney. Each artist painted on small ceramic piggy banks & submitted a few original works. The show opened on February the 12th 2010 and ran until the 14th.

I’m very excited to have been selected as a finalist in the Brunswick Street Gallery Prize show. The show ran from December the 4th 2009 until January the 7th 2010.
Group show “Once Upon”
Leeloo celebrated their 2nd birthday with a fairy tale themed group show, held at Ambush Gallery in Sydney. Each artist submitted 4 original A5-sized works based on an allocated fairy tale – mine was The Griffin! He is a noble beast. The opening night was the 19th of November, show ran from the 19th-22nd of November 2009.

Edition Magazine Issue 5 release and group show “It’s a 2 colour thing”
696 teamed up with the folk at Edition Magazine, and a group of local artists submitted a digital piece for the printed mag and a painting for a group show. The show opened at Gallery 696 on the 20th of March & ran from the 19th of March to the 1st of April.

A gigantic group show at the Linden Gallery, St Kilda, Melbourne. Hundreds of works (I showed 3), everything 30cm or smaller. The show ran from the 1st of Feb to the 27th of March 2009.
Bushfire Relief Auction at BSG, 3rd of March 2009
I donated a piece for an auction at the Brunswick Street Gallery, $13,000 was raised on the night and donated to the Red Cross to help the recent Victorian bushfire victims.
“Sketchel” Group show
I painted on a canvas panel for a ‘Sketchel’ bag. The show ran from the 4th – 18th of Feb 2009 at Gallery 696.
Art Sydney 08
I displayed several pieces in the Brunswick Street Gallery Stand. The event ran from the 24th – 26th of October, at the Royal Hall of Industries, Moore Park, Sydney. I didn’t get the chance to go up for it but I heard good things.
“I Art Sydney Road”
Part of the 2008 Melbourne Fringe Festival. Around 60 artists from the Brunswick area exhibited in shopfronts along the wonderful Sydney Road (Brunswick, Melbourne), from 24th September – 5th of October.

Sydney Group Show – A Populous Cast
I took part in a show entitled ‘The Populous Cast’ – June 18-29th, 2008 at the Global Gallery in Paddington. I got to meet a few of the artists involved on the 28th of June.

November’s SOLO show at Brunswick Street Gallery
From November 9th to the 23rd 2007, I had my first solo show at the Brunswick Street Gallery. The show was entitled ‘Curious Beasts’ and featured 19 of my recent works. The opening night was great fun, thanks heaps to everyone who came along.
