A hippocampus is a mythological seahorse-type creatures with the head of a horse and the tail of a fish. Sometimes they have hooves and a mane, sometimes they are covered in fins.
I created this dappled grey creature with a curving body covered with embossed metal armour, ragged flags fly from its back, its fins contain images of vintage sea monsters and its eye is a genuine moonstone.
